Programs
Internship program qualifications:
- You must be currently enrolled in a degree-granting post-secondary academic institution outside of the USA or.
- You must not have graduated more than 12 months prior to the program start date
- Maximum internship duration: 12 months
Training program qualifications:
- You have a degree from a post-secondary academic institution outside of the USA and at least 1 year of prior work experience related to your training program, or
- 5 years of work experience outside the USA in your field of training
- Maximum training program duration : 18 months
Appropriate knowledge of English required
J-1 Intership & trainee Visa
The J-1 visa is issued by an American consulate or Embassy. To apply for the J1 visa, students and other individuals must be accepted by a J-1 sponsor organization that will issue a certificate of eligibility (DS 2019 form) to qualified applicants. The DS 2019 form is necessary to apply for and obtain the J-1 visa.
Applications will be screened by the Institut Mediterraneen de Langues & Services (IMLS). IMLS approved applications are sent to the J-1 sponsor for final review, approval and acceptance
possibilities for internship and training placement:
- “full placement”: the applicant needs a host company in the USA and wishes that the IMLS and the sponsor provide the program
- “self placement”: the applicant already has a host company and needs a sponsor in the USA who will provide a training plan and issue the DS2019 form.

- SEVIS: between $ 35 and 180 (Student & Exchange Visitor Information System) depending on program duration
- Visa J1: $ 131

- full placement : $ 1250 - $ 1550
- self placement : $ 550- $ 950 price depending on program duration
Insurance : $ 35 /month
IMLS : € 250 (application fee)
