Anglophone Library

The Anglophone Library offers a warm, cosy atmosphere at the Institut Mediterraneen de Langues et Services (IMLS), situated in the center of Montpellier.

The library provides current fiction and non-fiction, best sellers, biographies, thrillers, good, mainstream literature for avid readers. A selection of magazines and literary reviews is also on offer.

Location

FOAL has set up a small, English language lending library at the IMLS.

Opening hours

The library is open every Wednesday from 3pm-6pm.

The collection

Current fiction and non-fiction, best sellers, biographies, thrillers,good, mainstream literature for avid readers. A selection of magazines and literary reviews can be borrowed or even kept.

Permanent Book Sale

Members can show support by bringing in recent books to add to the collection or the permanent Book Sale, the money raised goes towards buying new books. Books for a Children’s Section will be donated by members.

12-month library membership fees

Active member : 25 euros

Benefactor : 40 euros

Student : 15 euros

Membership is free for IMLS students

The association also sponsors events such as books readings, talks, concerts. “Book Chat” sessions are held regularly for people to get together and talk about books they have enjoyed.
